{"id":929,"date":"2010-12-07T13:32:28","date_gmt":"2010-12-07T21:32:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.computerabuser.com\/?p=929"},"modified":"2010-12-07T13:34:38","modified_gmt":"2010-12-07T21:34:38","slug":"dealextreme-2-month-delivery-yikes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.computerabuser.com\/?p=929","title":{"rendered":"DealExtreme &#8211; 2 Month Delivery (Yikes!)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" title=\"DealExtreme Logo\" src=\"http:\/\/www.computerabuser.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/DealExtreme-Logo1-300x238.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"238\" \/>Back on Oct 1st <a title=\"DealExtreme\" href=\"http:\/\/www.computerabuser.com\/?p=644\" target=\"_blank\">I discussed ordering from DealExtreme<\/a> for the first time.\u00a0 I had never ordered from them before but the price was right (stupid cheap) and shipping was free.<\/p>\n<p>Well, late last week, I finally received a small envelope labelled Hong Kong Airmail.<\/p>\n<p>For those of you paying attention, if I am only now receiving my order, that means it took almost 2 months for it to be delivered.\u00a0 WTFIUWT?<\/p>\n<p>Not only that, but they didn&#8217;t send the PS3 remote; the whole reason I made the order in the first place.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I can only assume the PS3 remote was back-ordered and that I will get it eventually, though hopefully before 2011 rolls around.\u00a0 What I did receive was a mini-USB to micro-USB adaptor and a battery cover for my PSP.<\/p>\n<p>The micro-USB adaptor is labelled Motorola (not sure what device it was originally intended for) and it works fine; so no problems there.<\/p>\n<p>The PSP battery cover is after-market, so the colour and texture is ever so slightly off.\u00a0 It fits pretty good and will probably be just fine.<\/p>\n<p>I hope the PS3 remote works just as well.\u00a0 As for delivery time, 2 months is a little extreme and not in a good way.\u00a0 Assuming the PS3 remote works fine, I will probably order from them again, but only if I&#8217;m not in a hurry.<\/p>\n<p>ComputerAbuser<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Back on Oct 1st I discussed ordering from DealExtreme for the first time.
