{"id":1841,"date":"2013-07-15T13:39:59","date_gmt":"2013-07-15T20:39:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.computerabuser.com\/?p=1841"},"modified":"2013-07-15T13:39:59","modified_gmt":"2013-07-15T20:39:59","slug":"finally-finished-deus-ex-human-revolution","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.computerabuser.com\/?p=1841","title":{"rendered":"Finally Finished Deus Ex: Human Revolution"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1842\" title=\"DeusEx HR Achievement Pacifist\" src=\"http:\/\/www.computerabuser.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/DeusEx_Achievement_Pacifist.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"64\" height=\"64\" \/>Well, somehow it took me 120 hours (according to Steam), but I finally finished Deus Ex: Human Revolution this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>I was EXTREMELY thorough. \u00a0Every computer or security panel that could be hacked, I hacked. \u00a0Regardless of whether I had the code or not. \u00a0I also played Pacifist and avoided killing anyone my entire play-though (or so I had thought, see below). \u00a0The benefit was that I had an insane amount of XP by the end. \u00a0I was able to upgrade almost every single augmentation.<\/p>\n<p>Long before I reached the 2nd boss I had already upgraded everything that I wanted to.<\/p>\n<p>Once the credits started rolling, though, I realized that the Pacifist achievement never popped up. \u00a0I was also expecting the Foxiest of the Hounds achievement as well, but that also never came.<\/p>\n<p>Turns out that I killed some people during the prologue (before you get augmented or are given the option of a non-lethal weapon), so I lost the option within the first hour of playing.<\/p>\n<p>I know in my heart that the moment I was given a tranquillizer gun and given the option to not kill people, that not a single human was injured by my hand. \u00a0I was extremely careful and continuously reloaded from my save files whenever something went wrong. \u00a0It just sucks that I lost the achievement before I even knew you could play non-lethal.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>ComputerAbuser<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, somehow it took me 120 hours (according to Steam), but I finally finished Deus Ex: Human Revolution this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>I was EXTREMELY thorough.
