\"\"<\/a>I am happy to report that in 1 week, the Project Fedora Kickstarter<\/a> has been able to raise over 50% of their target.<\/p>\n

There is still a long, long way to go, but this is a good sign.<\/p>\n

It’s no where near what Shadowrun Returns<\/a> and Wasteland 2<\/a> were able to achieve, but we need to first hit our target before we worry about exceeding it.<\/p>\n

Actually, now that I think about it, I’m not sure why these previous Kickstarters were so successful. \u00a0Are there that many more RPG fans out there than Adventure Game fans?<\/p>\n

Under a Killing Moon<\/a>, The Pandora Directive<\/a> and Overseer<\/a> were some of the best adventure games produced in the past 30 years. \u00a0Project Fedora aims to continue the series and it’s being done by the original creators.<\/p>\n

In contrast, the Leisure Suit Larry Kickstarter<\/a> was for a remake of a much simpler, shorter game and it raised over $650K. \u00a0Maybe I’m missing something?<\/p>\n
