\"\"<\/a>In a previous post<\/a> I mentioned buying a bunch of games from Rogers Video as part of their boxing day sale.\u00a0 One of those games was a PS3 game called Enslaved: Odyssey to the West<\/a> developed by Ninja Theory.<\/p>\n

Some of the games that I bought that day were purely for trade on Goozex, but this one I actually wanted to play.\u00a0 I don’t remember where I first heard about it, but at some point prior I had decided that I wanted to play it and added it as a request on Goozex.<\/p>\n

Sadly, I was in 80th place in line on Goozex (the unfortunate case with new games).\u00a0 So imagine my surprise when I found it at Rogers Video for a mere $13.33 (buy 1 get 2 free at $40).<\/p>\n

Anyway, I ended up playing and completing this game over the holidays.\u00a0 I finished it in 3 sessions over 3 days.\u00a0 Supposedly, there is about 10 hours of game play, but it felt more like 6 to 8 hours.\u00a0 Perhaps that’s a good thing that it seemed to go so quickly instead of dragging on.<\/p>\n

Regardless, it was a lot of fun.\u00a0 Similar in gameplay\/feel to perhaps Beyond Good & Evil<\/a> or Oni<\/a> not counting the whole escort aspect.<\/p>\n

The graphics on the PS3 were great, although some of the initial animations seemed a little choppy.\u00a0 The voice acting was very good.\u00a0 There were some points early on where the dialogue was difficult to hear due to the music volume but that wasn’t a problem later on.<\/p>\n

The Character development was done very well.<\/p>\n

The story was interesting but I would have liked a bit more back story.\u00a0 You get some hints here and there throughout the game, but it doesn’t get addressed directly.<\/p>\n

Overall, I really enjoyed it and in my case it was a definite win.\u00a0 I only paid $13.33 to buy it used and after finishing it, I traded it back out on Goozez for 1000 points (~$50).\u00a0 \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n
