{"id":1000,"date":"2011-01-06T10:48:45","date_gmt":"2011-01-06T18:48:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.computerabuser.com\/?p=1000"},"modified":"2011-01-06T10:51:03","modified_gmt":"2011-01-06T18:51:03","slug":"tron-legacy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.computerabuser.com\/?p=1000","title":{"rendered":"Tron: Legacy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1001\" title=\"Tron Legacy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.computerabuser.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/Tronlegacy-202x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"202\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.computerabuser.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/Tronlegacy-202x300.jpg 202w, https:\/\/www.computerabuser.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/Tronlegacy.jpg 486w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 202px) 100vw, 202px\" \/>I ended up seeing a few movies in theatres this holiday season, but of the movies that I saw, the one I wanted to see the most was <a title=\"Tron: Legacy on Wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tron:_Legacy\" target=\"_blank\">Tron: Legacy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I loved the original <a title=\"Tron - Wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tron_%28film%29\" target=\"_blank\">Tron<\/a> as a kid, so my opinion of it is a little biased and perhaps tinged with nostalgia.<\/p>\n<p>Regardless, I tried to go into Legacy with an open mind.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s actually pretty good if you try not to think about the minor details.\u00a0 There is a lot more fantasy than science in many of the ideas, but that doesn&#8217;t make it any less fun.<\/p>\n<p>The action scenes are pretty amazing, the special effects are spectacular and the music was great.<\/p>\n<p>I went to a theatre showing it in 3D and honestly the 3D was unnecessary.\u00a0 There were a few times where the effect was noticeable but it is in no way necessary and doesn&#8217;t really add anything to the experience.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to watching Legacy, I forced my kids to watch the original.\u00a0 They say they liked it but that the &#8220;graphics&#8221;
